I got an AR15 and i dont like the green OD on the gun. It was put on there from the previous owner, and i dont like it at all. First off what color black to they use on the RRA. Also how can i get the green off so i can paint the parts back to the flat black they were...

Thanks Eric

I would degrease the bastard really well before redoing it, and depending on how bad the previous paint job is, I might try to strip it. Then I would use a product like Norell's Molyresin to refinish it. Stickman will be along shortly to better help you.

Thanks Eric

+1

I just refinished my charging handle this evening due to some paint nicks on it with US SOCOM Flat Black moly resin and it matches the finish on My RRA perfectly!!!
