Read the description: " Maglula LULA Magazine Bench Loader AR-15"

The pic sure isn't of the bench loader though!

The title is for the  Magazine Bench Loader AR-15

but the image used is for the $20 loader/unloader.

That's all.

The benchloader is a $350 item

someone posted a couple days ago a picture of a bench loader he had made out of a couple pieces of board and a router.  Same curved shape, with a blocky "pusher".  I assume hardwood, but cant remember.  I thought he said he would make some more and offer them up for sale, but I don't want to speak for him.

$350 sure seems steep for a couple slabs of injection molded plastic and some metal bits, but I guess thats what the market will bear.

If you pay $350 for a bench loader, you are one lazy ass dude (with a fat wallet of course).

I have two bench loaders, one for my AR's and one for the AK. They are plastic and simple little things. They work great and were very popular back before the LULA. The also cost around $25.00.

Here's a photo of one of mine (I also have a couple of the regular LULAs though too):

For an instructor/business/builder I could maybe see the need for one of those. But for the average shooter it makes no sense. AR mags are among the easiest in the world to load. 20-30 in the course of a day should be no problem to load by hand. Of course that's just my opinion and we all now what they say about those.

I just feel $350-399 for an AR15 magazine loader is outrageous. It better pull the rounds out of the box, load the magazine, then repeat until I verbally tell it to stop... or else it just aint worth it.

Dude that is like half the cost of some rifles... I could get a couple cases of good ammo, a couple of good stocks, twenty-six 30rnd mags with magpul followers, a FF rail, a Geissele trigger, front and rear troy sights... hell the list goes on!! That's a chunk of change man.

LOL- That's how I was raised.  I became an expert on every caliber my dad shot by being responsible for chassing brass and loading mags.  I thought it was the coolest thing in the world too!
