Hey guys...this is probably a dumb question, but I'll ask anyway..

I have a M4gery (Stag) that I have been shooting with a rock river 6 position stock. I recently purchased an A2 stock from the EE (Bushmaster) that was on a 20" rifle originally..

Upon changing them out I noticed the A2 buffer was considerably larger and heavier than the 6 position buffer..Is this OK? I am just wondering if this would cause any safety, reliability issues, or excessive wear.  Am I worrying for nothing?

Thanks guys...

You are worrying for nothing.

The Rifle buffer & spring work properly in the rifle length receiver extension, while the carinbe buffer & spring work properly for the telestock receiver extension.

Note the springs ARE NOT interchangable (just like the buffers).

You'll find your carbine will recoil a bit softer with the rifle buffer system.
