I need a little on decideing what brand of AR to go with. From what I have seen they are all pretty much the same or did i miss something.

I have looked at Bushy and was all set to buy two AR's from them and then they stopped their 308 line now it's back to looking and so far it's looking like it will be Armalite's all the way around.

Are Armalite's better, worse, or equal to a Bushy? and yes I am new to AR's

I'd say that ArmaLite's are in the same class as Bushmaster. I've never owned one of their AR-15 rifles, but I did have an AR-10 and it ran flawlessly. If you want a matched set (.223 and .308) from the same company, then ArmaLite is pretty much the only game going.

Or DPMS

While some people havent had good luck with DPMS, I have never had a problem with my DPMS rifles.

There .308 ARs use the SR-25 pattern mags the only .308 mags made to work with a AR style rifle.

DPMS rifles are better.  The LR 308 line of rifles are all getting rave reviews.  I have sold well over 100 of them and I haven't received one negative comment.  They are sell at $300.oo to a $1,000.00 cheaper.  Three of the rifles are getting .5" groups at 100 yards.

Ok I have to ask are the DPMS and Armalite barrels and chamers chrome lined? I see that most (all but one for DPMS) are .223 rem or are they .223/5.56?

DPMS: CON: No forward Assit, No Dust Cover

Armalite: CON: Price for the .308

And the price difference is about $350.00 (less for the DPMS in .308).

DPMS 308AP4 does have a fowrward assist and a dust cover.  Price difference between Armalite 308 AR10T and the DPMS LR308, comparable rifles is $900.00 some odd dollars.

I have found my AR in 5.56 (.223) at Rock River now i just need to find one in .308 (7.62). Any Suggestions on .308's? The only one's i know of are the Armalites and the DPMS or DSA FAL's.

You really should get opinions from someone who has experience with more than one DPMS rifle.  DPMS is better.  More bang for the buck.
