i have a 16'' bushmaster modular carbine upper that i want to make into a SPR project... i want to replace the old handguard with a longer one freefloated to cover the gasblock...rifle length?spectre length? need some help in that department and second...any advice on a lower power scope to throw on it..i would go with an ACOG but funds do not permit it at this time

the modular is already freefloated but since you want to go longer then i would go with either a 9.0 or the 12.0

are you planning on sticking with yhm?

leupold, simmons, burris and so on make some nice low powered scopes that arent as much as and acog.
