I actually got this AR about 4-5 months ago, but I've just now got around to showing her off
Kinda shitty pictures, but here goes...

First AR and half of my second (I've already caught the AR-bug)

My Armalite M15A4 Carbine upper is actually on the LMT Defender 2000 lower that I just picked up today. The original lower is the one to the side

Here's a close up of my AR's little friends; a HK USP40 Compact and SigTac folder (great knife, by the way) and a Gerber folder

The beginnings of my private armory. Now I just need a FN Tactical Police Shotgun, USP45 Tactical, AK or two, maybe an FAL or G3 clone, an FN SPR...

Actually, I really need to get a single point sling for the AR (and more mags/ammo etc of course)

Thanks!

Oh yeah, I guess I forgot some of the specifics:

Base rifle is an Armalite M15A4 Carbine, Armalite/Aloystr railed handguards (non free-float), Armalite detachable fixed front sight, ARMS #40L, EOTech 512, and TangoDown vert grip.

The Armalite upper is pictured on an LMT Def. 2000 lower with SOPMOD and TangoDown grip (which it actually fits much better on than the factory lower).

I feel like a parrot when people ask about single point slings, but his is better than anything else I've used in a single point.

Where did you pick up the LMT lower?

Thanks again, guys.

WIZZO-she shoots very respectably. I usually dont shoot off a rest, but I can often get 3-4" groups at 50yds offhand.

Stickman-thanks for the link, and I got the LMT lower here on the EE from Talon Arms, who I HIGHLY reccomend. Lower with SOPMOD/TD grip; $430 shipped. Got it in about 4-5 business days.

Nice AR, I like your SOPMOD stock.

I also have a LMT lower but with Vltor Modstock (originally with factory M4 stock) and LMT 16" CAR upper.

Thanks everyone

I fell in love with the SOPMOD stock as soon as I rested my cheek on it. Better ergonomics than an A2 stock, nevermind a standard M4/CAR stock. Theres no going back now that I've tried it. Maybe I'll give a Vltor a try on the other lower though...

4x4sc- great link! thanks

Close to the same setup I am saving for!

How is the Alostyr handguard?  Does it move with the forward grip attached?

Excellent pics!
