Hello guys, First of all, I would love to thank you all for your wonderful help and to the mods for creating such a great environment. I am new to the world of AR-15's but I have been lurking on the board for about a year. I finally decided to take the plunge and got myself a RRA stripped lower. I have done a search and I am wondering about the finish on my lower. I have been looking at the pictures posted on this site and the finish on my lower is nothing like the pictures. My RRA lower looks like it was spray painted with a flat black paint, it is not as "sharp" as I have been seeing in some pictures. Is this normal? I have a RRA LPK and a stripped RRA upper coming and I sure hope they match. Again thank you for all of the help, and hours of useful reading! I cant wait to get my gun together and get out and put some rounds down range. -JZ |

Thanks for the added replies gentlemen. I am not really worried about it matching, I would hope that all of RRA's components would match up. I guess my lower looks "flat" and everything I see pictures of looks shinier/smoother. I guess I will just have to see when I get my upper in the mail. Perhaps its a trick on the eyes? I will hopefully find out tomorrow when my upper arrives. Thanks again, Jamin |
