I got a DPMS CMP competition model. Cant seem to get any ammo to feed through it except for Federal AE, good M855 (lwinchester or LC surplus), and some M193 surplus (IMI, LC). Wolf, PMC, and S&B, will fire a few shots then jam up. Winchester Q3131, Remington, and any crap surplus ammo wont even feed at all. Anybody got the same problems? Also the gun shoots to the left quite a bit, unless I adjust the front sight post/gas trunion. DPMS says this is not always on straight, but looks like I have to shift it way over. As for the ammo they say the competition chamber is much tighter and doesnt work well with dirty ammo. But I would think it should work with more than only one commercial brand! I got just about every option when I got it. Titanium coated bolt carrier, titanium bolt, JP Trigger, Cryo-treated barrel, barrel blackening. Dont know if any of this would affect anything. |
