I have a First Samco M33 handguard set which only has two rails, top and bottom. I'm building a cheap carbine so I'm looking to get the cheapest light and mount available. I have the Brinkman flashlight from Wally World and now I need to mount it. What mount (cheap) will bring the flashlight into the proper position on the side of the handguard? Please no lectures on cheap/crap/get what you pay for parts. I have all the high end stuff on my other rifles. This one is just for good cheap fun. Did I mention cheap? ![]() |

This 45 degree angle mount might be what your looking for. Yankee Hill Mchine |

Shameless plug for my EE post It put the light in line with the bore and can overlap the handguard or make it so the whole light is in front of the guard. You can get a pigtail which will work well with this set-up. Worked good for me - but I am going a different route on the light mount. |
