Can any one tell me which AR carbine variant has a cut down A1 foregrip and a sliding stock-which looks more like a small fixed stock than the telescopic current one. Is this a XM 607? Also any info on this weapon and pics would appreciated. I know one of you guys can help me. Thanks..

And Im trying to find out length of barrel ect. or somebody that can build me the complete upper
Also I thought I saw a thread somewhere within the last two weeks where UXB was listing some of his parts, but I cannot find it.

Cheers guys. Thats the rifle Slitzer! About barrel length i have it in a M16 source book that the 607s barrel is 0.254 meter-but you would have to check up on it for sure.

uxb's description -

Second, about the rifle.

It's built on a PWA lower that I got from Krista at RB Precision and a CH forge code A1 upper from Billbo over in Equipment Exchange. The flat slip ring is also from Billbo.

The upper and lower were coated in Lauer's DuraCoat "Colt-Grey".

The buttstock, charging handle, handguards, and XM moderator are all from WA-Tom at Total Silence, Inc.

Tha barrel started life as a Colt Klintonian post-ban pencil barrel that ADCO chopped and opened the gas port to 0.093" (take that, AWB!).

The only sacrifice I made for the sake of reliability is I'm running an "H"-weight buffer and a Wolff extra-strength extractor spring and a Crane "O"-ring.

Not all XM607s have the cut down grip.

True, but real 607s basically look like that.
