I am thinking of getting of the Midwest Industries two piece forearm rail system, however on my  M-forgery I have about an 1/8 inch play in the delta ring.  The delta ring moves until it is caught by the gas tube.  Is this normal, and if I get this rail system will it have the same amount of play as the m4 handguards have?

The slight movement in the delta ring is normal.  I haven't seen the MI rail, but my assumption is that there should not be any play in the rail when correctly installed.

I have the MI FF rails.  The delta ring has to be removed for install.  Once on, the FF tube doesn't move at all - it's very solid.
