The popular ones around here are either Tango Down - with battery compartment and tape switch provision OR Knights Armaments -plain and simple "broom handle" type. Both are rock solid. There are several others around, GG&G, Fobus, ARMS etc. Everybody has an oipinion on why each is each others preference. It is a matter of personal choice. ETA: here's another thread with the same query Vertical Grips. You can get more ideas from there. |
| as i stated in Joaquin's post, i use the TangoDown VG. it feels really good in the hand and is devoid of any sharp edges. Plus, the mount seems pretty solid so far. my last VG was a KAC VG and on occassion the bottom screw cap would work its way loose from shooting and just handling the VG. yeah, that's not really a big deal if you're just shooting at the range, but i carry my AR on duty and need it to be 'solid' everytime. jus my 2 cents. |
