Found a stripped bushy lower for $169 here in town. Its brand new and I have been checking sites on the internet and can't find'em any cheaper (maybe couple bucks) does it sound like a good price? Thanks.

If your not brand specific I got a DPMS this weekend at a gun show for $116 OTD tax and all also saw a RRA for $140. Then some local machine shop "Sun Devil Mfg." had some for $90 apiece. They were milled from a solid block and the finish was incredible.

I'd have no problem paying $169 for a bushmaster.

The Bushmaster lowers I've been seeing lately look like a pack of angry, drunken monkeys worked them over with a pipe wrench. I would buy 2 stripped Megas for roughly that price. The Megas are machined as good or better than anything else out there.

PS- I still love my Bushie weapons, but I wouldn't pay more for their name on a custom build I was doing.
