So technically i didnt krylon my ar since i used rusto but its the same thing. The first coat is lookin sweet. No drips and the only major problem is that kyrlon doesnt stick to ERGO grips very well, as the paint is rubbing off from minor handling. This might just drive me 2 get a MIAD grip 2 replace it perhaps. Also the stock isnt sliding as smoothly as it did before since it has  thin layer of paint on it now. Not a major hassle but just something that might get annoying after awhile.

Krylon is done. What do ya think....The base color is Rust-Oleum American Accents Nutmeg and the secondary color is Light Sage

You Kryloned that!

It looks good, but a rig like that (read expensive/awesome) I think I would have Duracoated or something.

I was considering doing a duracoat job, but krylon is cheaper, and its a whole lot easier to touch up, which i probably wont, and also if i dont like it i can paint over it or strip it back down to evil black

Sweet looking rig! Personally I'd mount the SF unit closer to the muzzle to give the front of the magwell some hand room but dance to your own beat bro. Nice job.

Thanks. Ya i like it up close like that because it pretty much forces u to tuck in ur elbows and ur arms get less fatigue in them.

I hear you. I like to back my support hand up against the magwell for offhand shooting but I see your point too. Good stuff.

Very nice. I'm working on a build very much like that. How do you like the Krink brake that far out there. I gave it some thought and it seems like it'd be very front end heavy?

It really isnt that bad. The krink only weighs like 4 oz. if i remember correctly. im not very worried about weight personally. The barrel is pretty heavy anyways and if i wanted a lightweight build, i would have built light and K.I.S.S but that wasnt wat i was tryin to achieve with this build.

Awesome rig Devil Dog.... Wish I could save up for one just like that! Perhaps in a few years...
