Tag. Any pre-order lists being established. Count me in for one
Any time frame on these?
Also, if you are considering taking s/n requests, I would commit to two lowers, s/n 00065 and s/n 00223. |
The Email attatched to this account does not work. I still have no Email. Will call tomorrow. |
Personally, I'm greatly looking forward to the "Lets see your Global Tactical builds" thread
Denny, once you get the retail pricepoint established will you be accepting pre-order payments for them? |
When I have to get a hold of Denny, I go to his website and use that email link. His ARFCOM email link is FUBAR. |
I am pretty easy to reach except thru ARF email and IM. My email is '[email protected]', off ice phone is 816 221 9117 ext 11 or cell is 816 809 9452. Denny |

I will buy atleast two once they are made, what more can I want. Safe Semi markings, no ugly deer head and a cmt lower! TAG TAG TAG!!!
Nah, that's not fun. how bout These markings... BURST SHTF OMFGBBQ |
I have arranged with CMT/STAG to have the lowers marked SAFE and SEMI. Tom Sawyer Mfg can mark the third position any way you like. For the ones we convert to full auto I will have them mark the AUTO position and fill it with red lacquer stick. The problem I have always had as a Class II Mfg is the damn SAFE/FIRE markings and then adding the AUTO marking. I always thought it just didn't look right. Denny |
I was just kidding about the third position I will be a unique addition to my collection to have lowers marked SAFE and SEMI. I'm greatly looking forward to their release |
I'd be in for at least one for $100. The only thing if the say AR-15 its a no go for us NJ people....
Yep, Tom Sawyer Mfg. Check out discussion here www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=118&t=221158 |
Awesome, as always Denny. Will there be quantity discounts available?
You make M16 lowers huh? Are they sell-able to civvies or only LEO? If they're transferrable, are they $10,000 like everyone elses? It'd be nice to find a full auto lower for under 10 grand... |
No, post samples are not transferable. |
Denny...
We talked about this before... and I have no doubt you will sell up to this number in no time at all! PLEASE remember I want dibs on serial number 666. The CQT scope on my spr in serial number 666... I want one of your lowers to rebuild it with a matching serial number. The other Dennis in KCMO. Thanks!!! |
If you're really taking S/N requests I will send them to you... I'm thinking about getting them to match my SEBR's from last year. Any final word on price, maybe quantity discounts?
These will be serialed from 00001 to 000100 in the first batch. I understand guys wanting specific serial number that are meaningufl to them. It will take a long time to get to some serial numbers being requested. I will do what I can but it is a lot to keep track of and many of the number may take many months to get to and I just can't track things that long. Doing serial number out of context would be a nightmare. Denny |
So will there be any quantity discounts Denny? |
+1 |
i am in for the wait and would pay a little extra to get the serial# requested but if its really too much trouble for such a great dealer than i understand |
Oh man I've been looking for a stripped lower (even emailed Denny's ironically because they are local) and I'll DEFINATELY have to wait for this. Looks like my first AR will be named the "Denny's Special"
Bump....
What's the ETA on these Denny? You're holding up a couple of my builds.... |
When these are ready, I'd love to see a group buy in the San Antonio, TX area
You guys are killing me.
The responsible, wife fearing side of me tells me that I don't need another money draining, addictive hobby centered around tinkering. Back in 1999, a friend told me "Don't buy a computer from the store. I'll help you order parts online and show you how to build it yourself.". I can't even guess how many different iterations my computer has been through. Or how many computers I've put together. Anyway, I've forced myself to quit messing around with computers altogether because I just have no self control when it comes to acquiring the latest dohickee for my rig. But now, you guys are making it sound so easy to roll your own AR. And I don't have one. And I want one. But my wife can be the most intimidating 5 ft 3 person you've ever seen when the credit card statement comes in. If I snap, and lose my self control, please don't answer any questions I may have. Thank you. |
In the mail today was a letter from the US Dept. of Justice/Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
The letter was the Marking Varience Approval. What that means is that we are good to go on making the lowers as submitted. Production will commence as soon as the roll stamp marking dies are made. Denny |
Congratulations! Any estimate as to when you will have finished lowers for sale? Hopefully before Christmas |
You have a condition known as Black Rifle Disease. It's easy to catch around here..... ... and yes, you do need one. If you can build a computer, you can build a rifle. Just stick with good components from reliable vendors (like Denny). |
Sounds great, please keep us posted. I'm down for a lower :). |
The roll mark will take a couple of weeks and then off we go. I feel like a kid at Christmas. Denny |
After the group buy train wrecks I have seen, most likely not. Besides these require an FFL and in a group buy mode that would be an admin. nightmare for me. I got enough headaches, but thanks for askin'. Denny |
high quantity discounts would be best! |
Yes, high quantity discounts, going to one FFL will be considered. The first run is only 100 lowers. Denny |
Hey, understood Denny!
I might have been mentioned already but everytime I see the model #, I can't help but think of Sarge! |
Why do you want CMT's name on the receivers? Why not just make them with yours? Or is this how to avoid the variance?
The second type of varience with my company name only takes forever. We took the most expedient route, besides I am not one of the ******secret****** kinda guys who feels he needs to hide where every part I use comes from. If I wasn't proud of my manufactuers I wouldn't use them Denny |
What is the point of these? There are 800 other companies making stripped lowers....Stag lowers are $80, why would I want one of these?
If you have to ask..................... you don't. Denny is a good guy and, not trying to speak for anyone else, but I'm sure most guys here want one to help one the "good guys" out. I know I'll be getting one. |
