[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Handguard cap problem....

I just go my FSB on and threw on the handguards to see what it would look like and i immediately noticed a problem. The cap is way too big and the handguards are not held in place. Are there different types of circular hand guards?

they are CAV arms hand guards and the gap is way too uniform to be a fuck up. Let me grab some pics

What kind of rifle are you building? 20"? Full length rifle handguards use a triangular handguard cap.

I know what you mean. In armorer's school, I forgot to put the handguard cap back on while reassembling the rifle and had to remove the FSB again to install it.
