| Well no one has taken a stab at this so I will chance a guess. It really could be a multitude of things. If everything seems to function smoothly w/o rounds being chambered it may be a small burr on the mating face of either the bolt or barrel extension. Another possibility would be a chamber on the minimum side with rounds on the plus side of tolerances. Doesn't mean anything is wrong with either the ammo or the chamber. I would say take it out and shoot it . Shoot one round at a time slowly and observe functioning. If no problems after five or so rounds (especially if you can do it with the rounds that caused the problem) i would say it is ok. If it is a small burr firing will most likely remove it with no malfunction. If it malfunctions stop right there and try to id the problem before proceeding. |
