I just purchased a DPMS M4 kit with a 16” AP4 contour  (4140 Chrome-moly steel) 6 groove right-handed 1x9 twist and button rifled barrel.  All the components are made by DPMS.

Once the kit is complete what type of accuracy would you think could I expect at 100-300 yds?

Do you think it will be more accurate than a Kel-Tec SU-16?

Is there any cheap ways to improve the accuracy right off the bat?

Thanks in advance for your input,
Jim

How good are you?  Most modern barrels shoot better than their owners can.

Nothing "cheap" , but the AP4 handguards could be replaced with a free float tube , trigger upgrade and last but least replace the barrel .

I've always felt the same way too. All of my guns are more accurate than me.

I have two of them. They are very accurate.
