[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Front Sight M4

Need help, I have a Colt Match M4 , when I was zeroing in with the carry handle at 25 m, my shot groug was always low, the front sight was in the highest position so the only alternative was to raise the back sight on the handle way up. I now have the EOTech sight on the weapon and have installed the GG&G BUIS and I went ahead and changed the front sight post to the Bushmaster post that is a little longer, still yet on zeroing at 25m with the BUIS I am still shooting about four inches low at POA and the new post is at its highest setting, so there no more chances of raising the bullet strike up.

Anybody have any suggestions on correcting this so my POA is at POI.

EOTechs are usually zeroed at 50m. I would zero both your BUIS and your optic at this range.

If you want to move the strike of the round up you must move the front sight down. It's just the opposite for the rear sight.

You need to lower your front site in order to raise your groups.
