| Tomorrow I'm having an upper delivered from Bushmaster by UPS. To anyone who's received an upper receiver from Bushmaster, do they require a signature on delivery? |
Some times the driver just signs it. Stuff that was left one day was signed for by a Dr. McMan (this was checked on their website), a couple of days later it was signed by Dr. McWoman. |

The only companies I have know to require a signature everytime has been the USPS and Fedex. Ups has done it sometimes, not all the time. The most recent was I just received a 1000 rounds through the mail, I was told by the company it would need an adult signature......I heard a bang at the door.....and the big brown was gone. |

I came home one day to find my Dillon RL550B sitting in front of my door. In the box as it comes from Dillon, bright white with a picture of the press and written in big letters, DILLON RL550B Reloading Press. Easy to read from the street. I was happy to find my packages delivered. Yet, less then thrilled to find them sitting out in front of my house. I live next to a park, with a basketball court, so its a high traffic area. I am just happy nobody decided to walk off with them. UPS rarely if ever makes me sign anything, I order parts and ammo all the time, and it is just left on the front porch. Jon |

I have seen UPS deliver stuff that was supposed to require a signature, and just leave the thing on the doorstep. And I have seen the customer call UPS and complain. And I have seen a NEW UPS driver very soon after that. They can't enforce their rules if they don't know they're being violated. If this happens, CALL UPS ANC COMPLAIN! The drivers in my area are great! I had one guy stop by a second time to reattempt delivery of-and successfully deliver!-a new laptop, on his own initiative. He said he was going to have to pass by anyway, so why not see if we were home! That saved us a LONG trip to their station, or waiting another day for the laptop. However, YMMV with UPS drivers. One company to watch out for is DHL/Airborne. Their performance is "spotty" at best. They try really hard, but they just don't seem to be anywhere near as well organized as FedEx/UPS/USPS. |
