| I just bought a 20" Colt A4 upper with the grey Colt finish. Can anyone tell me where I can get a matching grey lower? |

There's a number of places on the web where you can buy a Colt lower (start with the Equipment Exchange in this forum). Keep in mind, Colt upper gray density rarely match the lowers perfectly...you might be better of trying to match it yourself with DuraCoat, Norrels, etc. |

Essential Arms www.essentialarms.com www.essentialarms.com/alumlower.html ![]() Or you may use Norrell's gray on any lower that does not have a teflon coating. www.molyresin.com/molyresin_about.asp "GRAYISH-BLACK Flat Dark gray-black coloration with a flat appearance. This duplicates the appearance of the early original Colt AR-15/M-16 finish. This is the same product that is purchased from us by the U.S. Military to refinish Colt M-16's." |

Mine is colt gray duracoat. I'm extremely happy with the resuluts. I'll snap some pictures of it tomorrow for you if you're interested in doing something like that. I had a friend duracoat the entire rifle as the upper was one of those CDNN A1s and while in good shape wasn't perfect. It came out VERY close to the origional color too. |
