I have a BM A3. I have noticed some of you guys have the EoTechs mounted just over the delta ring. Is this something that gives more comfort when sighting? Or just a personal preference? I plan on buying a 512 and just wonder what I am getting into.

The general rule for red dots is the farther forward its mounted the faster it will be but the less accurate. Mounting it over the delta ring gives the best compromise between accuracy and speed.

How do you figure it is less accurate?

It's just a matter of personal preference. There is no "eye relief" to worry about so you can put it any where along the rail that you like (and it can fit). Just whatever works best for you and your rig

People using a ARMS #50 rail mount theirs all the way forward by the FSB.
