My daughter's a fan of it but I think it's a little too sweet.

Here's the skinny

I prefer the term "Lemming".

The reference isn't to KoolAid, it's to KoolAid drinkers.  Specifically members of the Jonestown Cult who drank Koolaid laced with cyanide in a mass suicide.  The people called koolaid drinkers are seen as so loyal to the product in question that they cultlike are blind to any faults it may have.

It is used in jest.

D'oh! I didn't mean to troll. I do know what that means. I was just wondering if any particular group is as 'dedicated' as the Colt folks. Not trying to troll..really.

There's a few LMT flavored Kool-aid'ers here and even some BM kool-aid drinkers but mostly the term is used on Colt guys.

G&R has their own KoolAid drinkers as well (or so I am told).

It is often safer here to ask what church someone goes to-or to make light of that choice-than to question someone's choice of AR )or AR parts) manufacturer.  People seem to get pretty hot under the collar when the subject of "Company A is better than Company B" comes up.

Me?  I'm an independent.  I built my first AR almost 20 years ago from parts (almost every single part bought separately!) and then had to sell it  .  Last fall I bought a Rock River carbine and I'm quite happy with it, but that doesn't mean I have an altar somewhere in the house that I sacrifice small FCG parts on to appease the RRA deities.  I just happen to like this rifle, and the work RRA does impresses me.

And stay away from the blue KoolAid.
