Anyone have aproximate weight of Recce carbine with and withought optics? How about an SPR? it seems like they would be similar in weight if comparably equiped, the balance would probably be quite different though. i tried a quick search to no avail. thanks for the help. |

A true RECCE or clone is a bit heavier than a standard carbine and an SPR is even heavier, the MOD0, PRI based ones being pretty heavy. Sorry I can't provide exact numbers, but I have an example of each and they are a bit heavy, but I'm a big boy, so I can handle them without too much high pitched whining, but of course, I'd never choose either for a carry/training rifle, either, unless I absolutely had to. My RECCE clone doesn't feel too front heavy, but my Mod1 SPR clone is extremely front heavy. |
