The SIR, CONVERTIBLE...
Attaches fore of the upper receiver.  Does not raise the upper rail.  Has an optional SWAN Sleeve type attachment that would raise the upper rail, should the user choose to do so.  Synthetic lower handguard.

No public pics. have yet been released by ARMS.  It was displayed, sporadically at SHOT '05.

Checked it out at Shot Show for a second, and then it was gone. Looked really good, was lightweight and slim line. Looking forward to getting one as soon as they are out.

This version is supposed to be more realistic on pricing.  

I think ARMS saw a massive dump in the rail market when everyone else made a rail and sold it for less.

Do these attach to the original barrel nut (ala Troy, etc)?

Did they have removeable rails?
