I just bought a used Colt Match Target Competition HBAR II and would like to get as much info as possible. It has the A3 removable carry handel with a 16in barrel marked C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR with the A2 birdcage flash hider but no bayo lug. The upper is marked with a C and what looks like the letter A on top of the letter F just above the foward assist. The front of the upper just behind the delta ring where the gas tube enters the upper reciever is marked M4. The serial number is CJC014XXX. My questions are as follows. 1. What is the date of manufacture. 2. Is the barrel and upper correct for this lower (looks like it was possibly added on due to F/H). 3. Is the barrel and upper correct for each other (HBAR with an M4 marking on upper ?). 4. The barrel looks crome lined but I was told the Match Target Competiton HBAR II originally was not crome lined. Any help would be appreciated. |
