A guy I work with just picked up a DPMS and it looks like its 20 years old... The upper is a A1 11.5 with a permanent flash Hider.

The lower appears to be cast not forged..'

His serial # starts with 148 and is a 5 digit #


anyway to tell how old this thing is?

DPMS isn't much more than about 10 years old so it can't be older than that.
