I was wondering if anyone has a 6724 they have acesorized. I have a plain one and was needing some ideas.

About the only thing you need for a CR6724, is a good scope and good ammunition.

Yes I know it is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned. I was thinking about dressing it up a little.  I already have the scope and bipod.  That rifle is a coyote's nightmare.

I installed a Harris BR bi-pod, A JP trigger, a PSG! style grip, a Ti firing pin, and a stock weight.  My rifle was EXCEDINGLY fond of the 55grn NBT.

If it doesn't shoot.....you suck.

I also found that 55gr seams to be the bullet of choice have you had any luck with any other weight bullets? What is the longest distance you have shot yours at? I made a bet with some friends one weekend and told them if I could see it I could hit it.  They ended up putting ballons out to 650 yards I managed to bust 10 in 12 shots so I was very pleased.

I have added a MAMBA scope mount (built in 25 MOA) from MidSouth Shooters Supply and a YHM "lite-weight" FF tube from BravoCompanyUSA to mine w/ Harris BRM-S bipod.

Scope is Leupold 4.5x14x40mm w/ mil-dots and turrets. and trigger is a Jewell 2-stage set at about 2#.

Don't get much better than this, IMO.

Hi, You have got yourself a great rifle in a 6724. I love mine; it shoots way better than I do.
I have done a few things to mine. I do not know if it is any more accurate, but it makes me happy. Here is the list:

Harris bipod
Ace stock (Take off from my Bushy Modular Carbine)
Leupold 6.5x20 Long Range, 30mm, varmint reticle
Armalite 30mm scope mount
Chip McCormick, two stage, flat, trigger
Badger charging handle latch
Hogue grip

Good luck tricking yours out. If it makes you happy, get it.

PS: I hope my first attempt posting pics works.

I like the stock you put on yours I have an extra 4 postion stock I might try on mine. Plus Knob Creek is coming up so I might see if I can find a few goodies there.

Hi GS1230,
How is the trigger on your Colt? Mine was terrible for a so called match assembly. It was a long, gritty takeup and a light, unpredictable letoff. The best thing I got for the rifle was the Chip McCormick trigger. Is yours a good trigger?

The trigger on mine isnt bad I cleaned it up a little and that seemed to help.
