I just picked up a new Bushmaster XM15-ES2.  The store I got it from had everything in stock except RRA.  I was leaning towards the RRA but now that I have the Bushmaster I am very pleased.  I chose the fixed handle over the removeable, I guess that gives me an excuse to get another one.  I can't wait to break this one in.

Nice gun....the A2 also has it's advantages. I would never feel undergunned with one like you have. I hear those Izzy suppressors are nice too.

Nice gun, A3 or not.
I remember when 10 years ago the HBAR 20" was all the rage. Now, it's mostly found on the back pages of the EE. Perhaps the same future will occur for the A3; Maybe, maybe not, but all the hype and popularity and great demand for the A3 today sure seems awfully similar to 'ol HBAR times.
A2, A3, whatever works best for you.  You spentz your money, now go shoot the thing and enjoy it.

The shop I got it at had several different models of Bushmaster in stock as well as other brands.  It took me at least 15 minutes to make up my mind.  I came real close to getting the A3 but for some reason I liked the A2 better.  Besides I get on kicks, my last one was 10/22's now I think it's going to be AR's.  If I had to guess I would bet on an A3 being in the safe before too long.

It might be because I have the A2 style as-well, But I really like it...I actually prefer to use the iron sights as much as possible....I do have an el-cheapo scope (leapers t-168), but I've only used it once, to sight it in...I guess if I need to make a long shot, I'll have it...Nice choice, you'll love the Bushmaster.

A2's are fine.

The only issue is if you want to mount a scope on it, it is too high on the carry handle for you to
comfortably rest your cheek on the stock while firing.  The easy way around this is for around $30-$35 bucks you can buy a cheek piece,  which can clamp on a Tele stock or fixed stock, and  you're
back to having a comforable shooting gun with a scope.

The only issue I've ever had with Bushmasters is I've had to have the barrel re-indexed.   If your
gun shoots a foot to the right or left at 50 yards when the rear sight is centered, you'll have to
send it back and have the barrel realigned, free of charge.  Takes a little over a week.

Cool!!!!  I chose an A3 Bushmaster but agree that the A2 "look" sure is nice.  RRA huh.  Well, at least you weren't searching for a Colt .

I just got off the range with my Bushmaster M4 with the A-2 sights.  It is really accurate but will go full auto with certain ammo.  Rather than send it back I'm going for a JTE trigger because this little baby will put 69 grain bthp into a 1/2 inch group at 100 meters.  I have a Colt 6720 coming in and the Army Sportsman center is beginning to get Colts and RRAs.  I will get a RRA next.  I'm going to stockpile in case of a new AWB.

A whole 15 min?  I wish I could be so decisive.  I lose sleep over such a choice....a LOT of sleep.

You did very well.
She's a beauty.

You know, call me old school, but all mine have the fixed A1 or A2 carry handle. I know the flat-top top is supposed to be better for optics, but I still like the fixed handle better.

Now you just need to get you one of these Aimpoint M2s or ML2s and you will be all set:

And welcome.
