Hey what happened to Fulton Armory in the Industry section I just went to post something there and I did not see them. I know they had a section in there last week. I was wondering why they do not seem to get much attention from us. I have recently bought a bunch of stuff from them to put together an A1 clone and the lower, upper and the 20 in A1 pencil barrel all appeared to be top quality at least rivaling my primary vendor, Bushmaster. And where it took me almost 14 weeeks to get a lower from Bushie I had the lower from Fulton in less than 4 weeks. Same thing with the Bolt carrier assembly. Going on 7 weeks waiting for one from Bushie, Fulton shipped the bolt carrier assembly with the lower in less than 4 weeks. Fulton seems to produce a good product and their customer service is excellant. Their prices may be a little on the high side but we need quality vendors like them |
At least the delta ring assemblies from Bushmaster and RRA are the correct charcoal black. The PURPLE ring I was sent by Fulton looks like crap, and their offer to have me REMOVE it and send it in for exchange was a much poorer customer service response than I had expected. Getting it right the SECOND time, hell, any 2nd or 3rd tier vendor can do that much for you. I expected their parts to be RIGHT the first time, and won't gamble with what they might send me in the future. Hope the door didn't hit them in the ass as they left... Paladin |
Spoken like someone who doesn't realize, alot of "older" Bushmaster products had a "purplish" tint to them, so much so, folks used to comment on them (the purple tint) regularly. Ya probably got an original Bushmaster part. Mike |

Yes it is, and everyone who has seen it comments about how CHEAP and piss poor the FULTON ARMORY PURPLE DELTA RING looks compared to the rest of the build. The rifle is now too embarrased to be seen in public, and is hiding in the safe until I can schedule time to perform "cosmetic surgery" that would not have been needed if I had ordered from another source... You're honestly that upset over a part that's $10 at the most? Looks like you wouldn't have put it back on if it were purple and you already had the rifle apart. |
IT WAS A BOOT, right or wrong it was a boot. battlerifles has been comsumed into another fourm american backyard or something. when a company will fix there mess up on the day before x-mas when the shop is closed. I will stick with that company. Just as c4grant has about the fastest shipping for a oneman band type of deal. |

The only complaints I have ever heard about Fulton Armory is the understandable backlog on their fine workmanship, and the amounts of money people want to spend on their products. They have a well known reputation for customer service. Don't know what else you want them to do about the purplish delta ring, though. |

Fulton Armory rocks. My AR is built of an FA receiver. Customer service is great too. I ordered multiple trigger kit's from them and had one missing spring or something.... They had it fed-ex'd out to me the same day I called to say it was missing. No biggie. Paladin with the amount of fuss you're creating over a 7 dollar part, which they offered to replace, I'm sure they won't miss your business. What's your next gamble, maybe a bolt catch? |

You're kidding right? Do you think LMT, BM, RRA or Colt never put out rifles with cosmetic flaws (flaws that are often much worse then a purple delta ring)? If that's the biggest problem you ever have with an AR consider your self lucky. Man, I thought I was a picky bitch but you've got me beat! |
| Just finished an A1 clone with all Fulton Armory parts. Looks great cosmetically, no flaws and I love the lack of a silly logo on their lowers. Lower receiver took 4 weeks to arrive from date of order. Ironically it arrived the same day as a Bushmaster receiver I had ordered 14 weeks earlier. I cannot attest to the function and reliability of FA yet as I have not had the chance to get the new rifle to the range. But all that I have heard with one exception which we have all heard is that their customer service is great I think I will try a few more of their lowers. Ya gotta love that plain, no-logo, no snake, no deer look. |

My AR is built on a Bushy lower and a Fulton flat top upper. I have had great success ordering parts and supplies from Fulton. They are definitely straight shooters. I just ordered some tools and a complete bolt/carrier assembly yesterday. It will be interesting to see how long it takes them to ship the bolt/carrier assembly. Cheers, Chris |

Fulton is small shop and they did some ads on AR15.COM after I suggested that they try it. However, they were too busy to monitor their AR15 industry site. I occasionally pinged Walt with an e-mail and he would jump on the replys, but in the end they only have so many resources and they decided not to renew their sponsership. While I'm sorry they are not active here anymore, I certainly understand their decision. |
I did the same thing, I was looking last night and saw fulton dropped there price of lowers to 100. that would be 125 shipped to your ffl. I dont mind spending a few extra bucks to get a lower that does not have a deer on the side. Nothing worng with the lower I just dont like the deer. I am planning on selling a Bushmaster 16" A2 Hbar, to funt 2 stripped lowers and a 376 Styer Mt rifle. Not a bad deal IN my book as I have to spare uppers. Now the delema for me is weather or not to remove the a2 stock and put a collisaple stock on it. As both of my free uppers are 20 types one hbar that will be made in to an open gun the other a mil-spec a2 (CDNN A2) and use a a2 and a1 stock set I have laying around. I cant see a collisable stock on an a2. I know they have there uses but I do not wear body armor. |
And I have received good stuff from them on some orders. But I will NOT be gambling with what they might pull out of their "seconds" bin in the future. No thanks, there are too many other vendors who can "get it right the first time". Paladin |

i bought the slick side bolt carrier assy. from their website, hoping to get a straight up black or parked(as it looks in the photo) assy. what i got was a chrome DPMS carrier with normal bolt, key, etc. if you know anything about chrome dpms carriers, they are not pretty, machine marks and look like they were finished up with a dremel. definatly not what the website picture looked like. look for yourselves if you get a chance. i probably should have called and asked before i ordered and im sure they would have taken it back after i got it, but I misplaced the receipt. i think they should put more details about their products on their website, its rather vague. |

Fulton Armory is top notch. Have they shipped wrong parts or bad parts. Who hasn't. I hear the complaints all the time about their wait times. (To the wait time compainers)Why do you think that is. Because they dont care about incoming orders and just lay around the shop all day. No, it is because a lot of people want a hand built M1A from Clint. Any time I have gone there to get parts, pick up a match Garandor get some work done on a rifle, Clint is always dealing with 2 or 3 customers at one time. The last time I was there he had 3 Iraq bound contractors checking on their rifles. Check War Rifles.com. They are there. Don't bother checking The firing Line.com though. They love to beat on Fulton, and when somebody post a pic. of a f-ed up LRB receiver the post goes away. If the the brass here would choose FA to build a rifle for EdSr. then shoot thats good enough for me. Purple Parts for Purple rifles. I would say thats good service. |
