Just trying to head off the "who makes the such&such?" questions.

I'm not sure what it weighs yet, but it's one heavy bitch.  I generally run a 16" DSA FAL carbine though so I'm used to heavy guns.

How come you went with the Aimpoint over the Eotech? Just curious.

I prefer the battery life of the Aimpoint to that of the Eotech, as well as the brightness adjustment knob over the buttions.  I do wish that Aimpoint would offer a reticule simmilar to the Eotech one though.

I paid $483 for the Aimpoint and the Larue mount as a package deal from MSTN.

Believe it or not, you don't notice it being front heavy so much because the Magpul stock is so heavy itself.
