M93A2 is the latest model on the market right now.
Magpul is always updating their product line.
The M93B (Bravo model ~ my editorial) is in the works

With your nose near or close to the charging handle, your face is no where near the opening in the rear of the stock.

Hey Bravo Company, I got my Magpul stock from you, thanks.

There is a photo in the manual showing the "future" goodies, one of which is a stock with a storage compartment.  Any idea when that stuff will be available?  It's a great stock, regardless of cheek weld.  The fact that it locks down tight with no rattling is really nice.

Is the Magpul longer than the VLTOR when extended?

is it like 1/2 in longer?

It should be both shorter and longer.  The MagPul design allows for more extension.  Fully extended, it's about .5" longer than an A2.

I think matt_B updated the "Whats the best collapsible stock for you"  thread to include LOP.

That post is a good one, especially for those shopping/considering "stock options"

Here is a review that I did on the Magpul M93 a couple years ago:

I'm an original Magpul M93 owner, and it is simply the best adjustable stock available.  That being said, do not buy this stock thinking that the extra stocks as shown in the .pdf file (M92 fixed stock, M94 configurable stock, M95 precision stock, and the M93 tail modules) will be available any time soon.  I've been waiting for these soon to be released (back in '03) items for years.

Buy the stock for what it is (a telestock), not for what it isn't (a modular stock system).  Magpul himself stated:

The truth on the M94 and M95 is that we have not decided when to fit those items into the production cycle.

Instead, we are getting a version of the M95 that won't work for those that bought the M93 for exactly that purpose.  So much for quick stock changes.  he
ETA:  No, your face doesn't fall into the void as your cheek should be on the rest, not in the void, but things that dangle often get caught in the void when colapsing the stock if you are not careful-- really the only downside to the stock.

My dealer, Kiesler's Police Supply, just became a MagPul distributor and they will be carrying the full line of stuff.  Magpul told them yesterday the 93B will be out in about 3-4 weeks and the 95 being about 3-4 months out.
The Glock ranger plates look very nice for those of you that are Glock fans but the loop hole in the plate is a bit small to get your finger in them for a really solid yank, not that you really need to.  They are still in the pre-production stage but you Glock guys are going to love them.  Now if they will make them for HKs too???

I got two of them off of the Magpul guys at SHOT.  I haven't installed or "deployed" them yet, but the video demo was pretty impressive.  I was worried about them fitting into my mag pouches, but they seem pretty flexible and will fold down some.

The technique used in the video was more of a pinch method between two fingers, rather than a finger through the loop.  All you need to do is situate the loop between your middle and ring finger, make a fist and it is very secure.

The guy in the video is my buddy Dave. He lives and breathes SWAT and he now trains SWAT and other police organizations in officer survival training. He has been pushing hard for the Speedplates. He doesn't use the hole in them at all and he doesn't use them to extract the magazine from the gun as some people speculate is the only use for them. It's really hard to explain how to properly use them without showing you though. Hopefully I'll be able to put the video online soon so that everyone can see it.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow on Dave's technique for using the speedplates. It won't be as impressive as the video, but it will get the point across a lot better then trying to explain it.

If anyone has any questions feel free to email me.
