Hello all,

I had a Colt A2 a few years back but sold it after we had our twins--it paid for a lot of diapers.  I'm looking at getting back into the AR game and have been looking at Bushmaster.  I had a question about these two:

16" M4 Type Carbine:

16" Carbine:

As far as I can see, the only difference in these two rifles in the barrel profile on the M4.  Does anyone know any other differences?

Thanks for any insight, I look forward to learning a lot from you.

I think the M4 barrel is the only difference, and I actually own the 16" HBAR in the bottom pic.

I preferred it to the M4 barrel, and mine is A2 instead of A3.

I absolutely love mine.

The M4 barrel is a half of a pound lighter than the HBAR.  While its only a half of a pound, the M$ profile)  feels much better IMHO especially if you start hanging things off of it.
