| I just recently acquired a Colt AR-15 (M6700).This is a post ban gun,but is my first AR.I've thoroughly enjoyed shooting it so far and have found it to be very accurate.Two 5 shot targets at 100 yards measured 3/4 and 7/8 inch.These targets were shot with some of my reloads and will probably be what I shoot from now on.I'm very glad to have found this forum.It is very imformative and sometimes a lot of fun to read the replies.Glad to be a part of the forum. |
Great choice for your first AR! 
| Sorry digital camera is not working right now.It is a 20 inch barrel with the 1 in 9 twist and I wanted to be able to take the carry handle off and mount a scope.This is why I got a MT6700.It will also have an Aetec 2.8-10x44 by the end of the week.The groups I got were with a cheap scope I robbed off one of my .22 rifles.It took about a month to find a new Colt,but was worth the wait.I looked at several brands but went with the Colt because of previous experience shooting Pythons and a Gold Cup National Match .45 which I shot bullseye matches with.I never have had a bad experience with Colt and their customer service has always been helpful.Maybe I'll get pictures when I get the camera going again.Good shooting to everyone. |
