What do yous guys think about Fulton Armory's rifles?  I'm loveing their DCM/National Match model.  Half minute of angle gauretee, can't beat that!  You think I could build one that nice my self, or do I have to spend the $1700?

I built mine for far less.
Stripped lower+LPK+NMtrigger+Buttstock is around $350-$400.
Add in a White Oak Upper for $750 or so, and you'll have a far better rifle IMHO for far less.
That leaves $500 or so for ammo, sling, scope, jacket, or whatever.

Fulton Armory National Match rifles are a cross between a custom and a production rifle, but they are priced closer to the custom rifle. That is, a little more attention is given to them so you probably will have less chance of getting one with problems. I have not seen anything bad with them. One of the guys on my team uses one, its shoots good but no better then his brothers Rock River. He regrets buying it but only because of the price, I think he paid 1.900.00 (his brother will not let him forget)
I know you are looking for a match rifle and you are sort of all over the place so let me explain something. About accuracy, there is no guarantee, you see a manufacture has no way of knowing what you do with your rifle, what you shoot in it, or most importantly how good of a marksman you are. The so called accuracy guarantee is designed to make you think there is something special about there rifles that will deliver better then the others. Any good match barrel with the ammo it likes will be capable of between 1/2 and 1 MOA.(with competent shooter) So it goes like this you buy a rifle, your best attempts only will yield lets say 3/4 or maybe even an inch MOA so you send it back, after a while they send it back to you with a test target saying there is nothing wrong with it and advuise you to use the proper ammo, which they will tell you is Black Hills, federal, etc. No, they will never recommend handloads which they will remind you would void the waurranty. The only real thing they would do for you is if there was indeed a problem with the barrel, (they may look at it with a bore scope) if you think they are going to rebarrel or replace your rifle because it shoots 3/4 or even 1MOA you are mistaken. In short they do not make a bad rifle, just to expensive, lots of hype and bullshit from the owner to justify the price. Rock River is the way to go, and you will have a thousand bucks left in your pocket.  look to the expierienced competitors and what you see dominating Camp Perry and service rifle tournaments. I hope this helps best of luck with your new rifle.      FA

I had fulton do some work on a M1A. An Ar does not require as much "work" to get it to shot better than a nm m1a.

I'll never shot the ability that fulton, or others can build a match rifle to. So save your money get good with a rack grade and go from there.
