| Hey fellas I need the name of some companys that custom build AR-15's. I saw that Atlantic Firearms has a great 'Goverment' model RRA that comes complete with rails, flip up sights and Eotech 552. The only thing was the $2000 price. Was wondering if anyone can do it for less. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

If you are wanting the RRA Government Model Model than I really doubt you could find it for much cheaper for 2k. Direct from RRA they are asking $2,250.00 and ADCO can save you $100. You could build something similar for cheaper, but not get that exact rifle for cheaper I wouldnt think. |
I'd check out the Industry section of these boards. MSTN, ADCO, JTAC among others all do custom guns. $2000 isn't all that high really when you look at what that rifle comes with.... Eotech 552: $400 (could save money with a 512) Flip Rear sight: $100 Hogue Grip: ~$25 Surefire Rail: $175 2 Stage Trigger: $100 upcharge Thats $800 right there. It adds up quick :) ETA: It also comes with an eagle discreet case ($90), a 6 position stock is always an upcharge over the standard 4 position, etc, etc.... |

Hey, Hammer .............welcome to the site. I suggest that you start by searching the pictures in the Industry forum section to determine what you want your rig to look like, and what components to consider. Then begin with a quality lower, add an upper to suit your project, and later add accessories to fit your interests. This is the best route. Heres a few links for you......CMMG, ADCO and....A real man's gun choice-------- :) Take your time, and in my opinion don't go for one of those "already accessorized" rigs like the RRA DEA model, as you may or may not want some of those accessories, or makes of accessories Be sure to shoot it up along the way, as you will learn a lot about what you do and do not like/want |
