Three of those Surefires are self contained units integrated with the handguards. Here's a pic of a forend by itself:

There is a master disable switch on the rear of the main light housing. On the handguard itself there is a pressure switch for momentary operation, a constant on switch, and a smaller pressure switch for the two low power navigation LEDs.

OK my turn

1)  Colt SP-1 Carbine from 1979 or 1980.  She was my first AR

2)  Colt 6520

3)  Colt 6920

Hmm hope you enjoy
Just realized the date on my camera is wrong.

Now I have enough nice pieces, I need to build a couple serious shooters!

My RRA A4 flattop, 16'' barrel, a2 flash hider, YHM flip up rear sight, RRA scope mount, simmons scope, hogue grip, uncle mikes 3 point sling, ghetto mag pulls, RRA 6 position stock. Thats about it for now.

The scope looks stupid but that is for hunting only anyways.

Just upgrade from an A2 receiver to an A4 flattop.  Added an ARMS #40 BUIS and moved the EOTech from the hanguard to the receiver.  Much better sight picture and balance.

Is that load bearing vest an actual military issue? And is it current? I'm just wondering because I have one. Paid 10 bucks for it at a local surplus place.

Why?

It's his rifle, I just don't understand taking something that is real and functional, and putting toys on it.
