| What is the going price to have a smith thread and install a flash hider on a post-ban? Just curious before I ask the local shop to make sure I am not bentover on this deal... hock.gif |

I'm charging $50 for AR-15 barrels, a little less if I get a stripped barrel. That price is pretty cheap compared to others. Let me know if I'm wrong. Howard JB ARMS |
+1 - Here is a link to their shop services page... ADCO's Shop Services Looks like it will cost you $56 plus shipping and I would be willing to bet that unless you have a great local 'smith, ADCO will be both cheaper and faster even with shipping factored in. |

I just got my upper back from Adco tonight. It took 10 days from the day it shipped. I got it a little cheaper since I purchased it from him just after the ban was over. Very good job. Not a scratch on the upper (that wasn't already there anyways). And it looks like he may have reparkerized it...because it looks darker...and better than it did. +2 for Adco. |

I sent the whole upper in a Fedex "tube" (it's really a triangle, of course). Of course I removed the b/bc/ch. Wrap the sucker a couple of turns in bubble wrap, stuff it in the tube, then stuff some wads of newspaper down after to keep it from sliding back and forth and it is packed ! |
That's a fair price IMO, had mine done for $65. locally. I dropped and picked. |
