[ARCHIVED THREAD] - bolt question

Bolt and Carrier assembly from Wilson Combat. Good? Bad? Go for it for 110 shipped? just wanted some input. Also, I'm new to the mechanical aspects of AR's, can A2 and newer bolts/carriers interchange with A1's. I read A2's lock up with the barrel extension to allow the use of aluminum uppers? Please school me if I am incorrect, I know Fals and Aks inside and out, so naturally I want to get to know AR's. feedback appreciated.

I'm not sure who Wilson gets their carrier assembies from(or if they make their own), but the price sounds about average for a carrier assembly. The carrier should work in any AR style rifle that I am aware of.

The only Wilson AR I've seen looked like it had an RRA bolt carrier assembly... One of those new 'old style' carriers...
