Mongo thanks for the link but I thought there was one of site member's spr's.  Maybe I was wrong.

My best to date - 100yds.  I haven't been able to beat that, but I have since been working up 77gr SMK loads vs. the 69gr SMKs that I shot in the target below.  That WOA SPR barrel loves the 69gr bullets.

Good shooting.  I love seeing AR platform rifles being able to shoot with the bolt guns.

Mongo,

I really like the way that one looks.

I assume it's a rifle length Knight's FF tube.

Barrel length?

The above are real SPRs in production, but mine is a lowly clone that I put together.  It has an ADCO supplied 18" White Oak Armament SPR profile barrel with the ADCO fake SPR brake, KG coated black.  The handguard is a KAC rifle length FF, as mentioned.  It is really a nice, accurate setup.  I have shot a 1.2" group at 200yds and did OK at 600yds with it - I actually shot 600yds with Steve from ADCO that day.  I put most of the rounds in a 9" circle with some fliers, all were likely my fault.

77gr BH Blue box @ 100.  not quite as impressive as Mongo's shooting.

You should see my feet! Hahahahaha!

Are you making fun of my improvised sand bags? They work great, so far anyway. I tried to get the strongest pair I could find and filled them up pretty good with dry beans. Than tied it shut. They are lightweght and much more adjustable than the sandbags I had been using.

Crumb, its not mine, its a friend of mines. My A4 is still an upper only and still without a handgaurd. But thanks, she like to hear people like her gun. It is very nice, and Im jealous of it.

hey did you use the duracoat mirageflage templates? if so how was it? what did you use to lay the paint? airbrush? what setup did you use? thanks for any help i am considering the urban mirageflage kit and wanted to know.

thanks for the help and nice rig

The paint is duracoat but I did not use their stencils. The stencils I made myself with contact paper, heavy art paper, and printouts of Marpat patterns. I used an airbrush to paint the gun...the cheapo  20 dollar testers kit from walmart.  Came out pretty decent for my first try at camo.

My JP-15 18" ultra-lite.  Note removable weight in stock for target mode.  This rifle consistently shoots sub half MOA with 55gr Nosler balistic tips.  Honestly.

Here is the same rifle at 6 1/2 pounds unloaded. "Carry it all day" mode.

My SPR
compass lake barrel
colt upper
Leopold M3
KAC front and rear sight (cortesy of AK-Mike)
Ops syle FH (cortesy of ADCO)
And the rest is normal SPR spec stuff etc (Makers Mark optional, but highly recomended)

My shotgroup at 100m. The rifle can shoot better than me anyday

you didnt say to post pics of your groups!!!! OK, and before you all bust my chops and say , I admit up front that this was a once in a lifetime group and I dont expect to see results like this many time again if ever.... But as much as I know it was luck, I know how hyped I was for it to have happened.

sub 1/4 moa 3 shot group at 600 yards measuring less than 2"!

For the record, average group for this gun at 600 is 1/2 moa on a great day and 3/4 moa on a average day.
