| I ordered a Bushmaster M4A3 type non-ban 3 weeks after the ban. Has anyone heard anything from aim on shipments. I'm in no hurry and we are still at war, just wondering if anyone has any inside info on this. Thanks hinking.gif |
I ordered one a little after the ban dropped, as expected it took longer than their 3 week estimate. They called me up because i was going to pick it up and pay cash. They gave me less than one day to call back and said if I didnt call back by the next morning they were gonna sell it to someone else. It's nice to know you put in an order and they are willing to work with you and hold it for more than a day for you to make arrangements to pick it up.

War has nothing to do with it, Bushmaster doesn't have military contracts. Biggest hold up on no ban rifles is the buying blitz. You have to remember, while the ban was in effect, only LE could buy these rifles. Not exactly sure what their demand was, but it compaires little now that the rest of us can buy'em. It looks as if everyone is behind on "no ban" construction. |
I do not think the current BushMaster M4's are roll marked "LE etc" I picked up a BushMaster M4 Patrolman LE model the 1st day the ban ended and mine has all the LE markings. I am pretty sure they are not making them currently w/ the LE markings. |

AWB end market goes up. Life is good. Our local dealer got in 5 rifles last week 3 colts and 2 Bushmasters all were sold that day. Only the Bushmasters were spoken for. There coming in dead slow compared to the rate at which people are buying them. For example In the lasrt 10 years I bought two semi automatic rifles. 1 M1A and 1 bushmaster In the last 2 months I bought 2, 1Fulton lower w/ old style 4 pos stock and 1 Colt AR15-A3. |
