| Hi i just registered and wanted to say "hi". I have a bushmaster XM15 E2S Law Enforcement model. And was looking to get the Hakko Tacpoint Red dot on it but its sold out everywhere. Anyone know where I can get one? Oh and BTW, what is the difference between a Law Enforcement model, a no ban , and a pre ban besides the stamp?? |

welcome to the site. You can find info on the Tacpoint in the optics forum here on AR15.COM, but don't expect a warm greeting. There's always a lot of bickering going on about the Tacpoints vs. Aimpoints. Pre-ban: Had all the "evil" features before the AW ban. Some states still have state-level AW bans, so the term still applies to some. LEO: Had all the "evil" features during the ban, and were only legal for law enforcement. Now they are civilian legal. No-ban: Since there is no AW ban any longer, new rifles are configured like they were before the ban. |
