My bad, didn't see that.  However, wear will still occur over time and I have the distinct feeling it will happen faster on the carbon fiber receiver than the aluminum but I could be wrong.  I have seen what can happen to the standard aluminum receiver and once you only have 1/3 left of the notch, you are getting close to nose bashing time.

So, which will wear faster - the aluminum or the carbon fiber?
