[ARCHIVED THREAD] - KAC RAS II Installation Instructions

I'm getting a RAS II in the next couple of days. I remember that sombody had posted his installation instructions on the net how not to scratch up the delta ring but now I can't find it. Any suggestions? All info & replies are greatly appreciated!!

I would imagine you will need a handguard removal tool, or a buddy to help hold down the Delta ring. Does it "Free Float" the barrel? If so, you will need to remove your front sight and gas tube also....

Just follow the instructions given, take your time, and you'll be fine.

You don't need to remove fsb and gas tube...

Here are is the online PDF instrucstions for the RAS II much eaiser to read than the one that comes with the rail.

It is easy to install I have very little trouble putting it on my BM M4. Just study the link above an you will be ok. If you have any questions just ask us.
