[ARCHIVED THREAD] - DPMS barrel question

I just got a DPMS barrel. It looks good, but the stamped writing on the barrel faces down instead of up. Is this normal on DPMS? Does it matter? Thanks, Dave

My DPMS faces down also! Some are chrome lined!

They offer both chrome lined and non chromelined

They were the ones that were for export to the other side of the world where they would have been right side up' correct for the area .but shootability should not be hindered --I know you're sure you understand what you think I said'but I'm not sure I think you understand what I know I said.........
