i have a DPMS 16" upper with a 1-7 twist. what would be the best bullet size, and what accuracy can I expect from this barrel. I believe some military units us this m-4 type barrel to hit point targets at 300m. I'd just like some info.. thanks

It'll handle anything 55 grains and up pretty well. The faster the twist, the heavier the bullets the barrel can stabilize.

...that would be ALL US regular military units. 1-7 is the standard twist rate for M4s and M16A2/A3/A4s.
