Greetings!

Does anyone know if these are going to be available again at reasonable prices?  Or, for that matter, what about regular thirty rounder?  Any idea how long it will be before we can buy new milspec magazines?  Some of mine are showing their age…

As long as we’re talking about the hundred round Beta-C, is there any kind of consensus about them?  Reliability and such?

Thanks!

Yes, they will be available for around $250.  Some places are pre-ordering now.

New 30 rounders should be available immediately....  As soon as they can get them on the market...

I already have 4 on order which will be processed on Monday by Beta-C.

A Class 3 guy named Rubin Mendiola in Miami is going to be selling these things at an affordible price come the 14th. You see his "I'll buy your machine guns" ad in SGN. I'm getting one reserved for me as we speak. He does quite a bit of business on those Beta's.

Rubin is a good guy and can be trusted.

Neat, but still too expensive.  I'd spend the $250 on 30rd USGA AR mags, standard cap Glock 23 and 19 mags and the hi-cap 10/22 mags.  My "ammunition feed device" shopping list has had 10 years to grow, it's kind of lengthy.

Aside from the "it's cool" and the "I couldn't have one for ten years" points, is ther any advantage to having one unless you have full auto?

Not really.  I guess if you're dug in and/or working off of bags or a bipod then you could put one to good use.  Unless you spend three hours a day in the gym, though, you probably don't want to hump one of those suckers for any significant length of time.

I may buy one but it probably won't be used much. Others on this board are using them for investment purposes for when a permanent ban happens.

I thought about that also, but I am afraid that so many will buy that the demand will not be there like it was during the ban, resulting in a far far less profit.  During the ban they were going for around $600 to $800, I just don't think we will see that kind of inflation again.

Hey, we don't plan on having another ban.

We didn't plan on the '94 ban either....

Beta C's, 30 rounders, 20 rounders, handgun mags, stripped lowers....I've been in the stock market a little but it bores me to tears...this is my way of investing and helping dealers and companies who support my cause.

Did anyone actually pay that much for one?  I saw all sorts of shit with outrageous prices during the ban.  Rarely saw any of it sell.  If people want to try that, God bless them, but I wouldn't consider it a sound investment.

Anyone have any feedback on the Beta's as far as reliability?  Given military use and the apparent price/demand one would think they would be reliable, but i've never seen anyone say so...
