I was cleaning a couple of my bushys today and noticied one has a serial number starting with BFI and the other starting with the letter L is there a reason for this?  Or is it just how there serial numbers are done? Thanks

I would think the BFI would be the normal start to their serials, but I also noticied the markings are a little diffrent on the L marked serials lower the bushmaster logo is smaller.

I think they changed their serial numbering after the ban.

I also seem to remember something about Bushmaster using a second source for lowers and lowers that were made at the second source used "BFI" as a prefix for the serial number.
