Thinking of picking some up for my unit. Spending limit on gov credit card is unlimited b/c of new fiscal year pending... thoughts?

They tested them in the Stan and it was pure junk!
I'd stick with 30 round magazines than drums.

Avoid it. They have serious reliability issues and make noise when jostled.

Mine works just fine
Just gotta maintain it. They're pretty maintaince-intensive.
However, you can load them up and leave them stored for SHTF for a long, long time. Can't do that with most other drum-type mags that I know of.

They are pretty heavy. Most people probably wouldn't want to carry them around much. They are a lot of fun at the range though.

I bought and sold it. More of a novelty. For what you pay even for an unbanned Beta, you could buy at least 10 - 30 rounders.

I have one, wouldn't want to use it for anything serious though.
I hope with the ban sunsetting, the manufacturer will have reason to make the product better.
