What is the best way to mount a harris bipod on a standard A2 20" plain jane rifle?

I've never seen one upclose so any help woudl be great. Tks in advance.

Get the AR adapter. It bolts to the lower handgaurd and requires the removal of the handguard to install.

Brownells carries one by Harris.
The stock number is 416-003-015
